Directions :
From Bendigo:
From Mitchell St./ Carpenter St. turn left into Spring Gully Rd. after the cemetery. Travel 1.7km and turn right into Burns St., turn left at the T intersection with Diamond Hill Rd. Travel ~1.3km and turn right into Sheltons Rd. and park as below.
From Melbourne:
Calder H’way, turn right into Taylor St. (traffic lights) before Kangaroo Flat shopping area, follow the road around the curve, and turn right at the T intersection (Chapel St.), under the bridge and then right into Allingham St., travel 250m and turn left into Sheltons Rd. Travel carefully along Sheltons Rd watching for competitors, and park as below.
Parking:
Will be on the roadside at the east end of Sheltons Rd. The assembly is 200m along the road, with the start 100m further on, unfortunately the road is mostly too narrow to park in this area. If the parking area becomes full, there is further parking 200m west of the assembly area near the dam, and a further 200m west where the bitumen road ends.
