Bendigo Orienteering events
basically every Saturday afternoon
usually 5 course set for beginners to elite

Driving directions from Bendigo are: · Take the Calder Highway to Inglewood (46 km) · Turn left into Verdon Street (signposted to St Arnaud and Kooyoora State Park) · Continue to Kingower township (12 km) and another 4 km. Turn right at the Orienteering sign.

Courses are: A 7.4 km hard; B 5.0 km hard; C 3.7 km hard; D 2.8 km moderate; and E 2.2 km easy.

Being Kooyoora, the navigation is harder than normal at each of these levels of difficulty, but apart from course A, they are not particularly rugged for Kooyoora. As always, the place is beautiful and a real orienteering challenge!
