Taradale-Old Drummond Road, Malmsbury (VicRoads map 44 F4).
From Bendigo take the Calder Highway to Taradale. Just before the shops in Taradale turn right into Old Drummond Road. After 2.4 kms turn right at the T intersection remaining on Old Drummond Road. Follow Old Drummond Road for 2 kms and park on the East side of the road. Walk South along the road to the assembly area being careful of local traffic, particularly on the bends.
Registration: 9.30am – 12.30pm. Start times: 10am – 1pm.
Terrain: Spur/gully with some gold mining detail and scattered rocks. There are blackberries and other scratchy undergrowth, complete body cover is recommended. There are many deep and dangerous mines, not all have been taped.
